E-SENS Project Extended Until 31 March 2017

e-sensThe Electronic Simple European Networked Services (e-SENS) project has been extended until 31 March 2017. The decision was taken so that the project team would have more time to engage more stakeholders, both from private and public sectors, as well as continue testing specific IT solutions with European public administrations and businesses. The aim of e-SENS is to make it easier to use cross-border digital public services. The consolidated technical solutions focus on services such as e-ID, e-Documents, e-Delivery, Semantics and e-Signatures and aim to provide the foundation for a platform of “core services” for the eGovernment cross-border digital infrastructure foreseen in the regulation for implementing the Connecting Europe Facility.
