Public Consultation on Evaluation & Review of the ePrivacy Directive Now Open

EC LOGOThe European Commission (EC) has opened a public consultation on the current text of the ePrivacy Directive. The EC aims to gather views from stakeholders on the Directive and possible modifications to it. This Directive is part of the Commission’s Digital Single Market Strategy. This review is one of the main activities initiated to increase public trust and security in digital services. The consultation is open until 5 July 2016. The results will be used to prepare a new legislative proposal on ePrivacy.
