New Report Calls for Training and Support for ICT Administrators in Schools

schoolnetA new report presents the findings from what is believed to be the first survey aimed at detecting the needs and challenges of ICT Administrators in schools. The picture that emerges contains positive elements, for example 60% of respondents have a post-school qualification in computer studies, but some major concerns are exposed, in particular the need for training and support. The report is intended to raise awareness of the challenges and needs of these professionals, and to initiate a dialogue amongst public and private sector organisations to find solutions.
