CEPIS e-Competence Benchmark Makes Its Television Debut

AICAAICA’s Vice President Roberto Bellini was interviewed by Il Sole 24 Ore, the Italian national daily business newspaper, regarding the future of European ICT professionals and the CEPIS e-Competence Benchmark results. Roberto Bellini presented the European e-Competence Framework (e-CF), which provides a common pan-European language for competences, skills and proficiency levels. He explained the need to provide future professionals with the skills required for tomorrow’s job market and that CEPIS had therefore created the CEPIS e-Competence Benchmark to help ICT professionals identify their digital competences and match them to the ICT jobs that suit them best. The results of the benchmark revealed that most professionals do not have the competences required for their job and that very few women work in ICT, particularly in Italy.
