3rd Edition of e-Skills Manifesto Urges to Mature the ICT Profession

e-skills for jobs campaign logo Maturing the ICT profession is one of the top recommendations included in the third edition of the e-Skills Manifesto, which was published following the e-Skills for Jobs high-level conference in Rome.

Other recommendations include promoting ICT to young people and adopting the European e-Competence Framework across the continent. The Manifesto recommends ECDL as a solution to improve for IT skills across all job functions and recognised the benefit of this for students, organisations and society at large.

CEPIS’ contributions to the ICT profession are mentioned several times in the Manifesto, such as the collection of articles on ICT ethics that was recently launched on the CEPIS website.
