CEPIS Secretariat staff attended the launch event of the e-Skills for Jobs Campaign which took place in Athens, Greece, on 6 May. The event’s theme focussed on mobilising support for job creation and upskilling of the workforce.
The e-Skills for Jobs campaign is already under way in 30 countries across Europe. This large-scale awareness-raising campaign is a response to the growing demand for ICT-skilled professionals which remains unmet, despite high level of unemployment in Europe.
The campaign focuses on promoting the career opportunities in ICT as well as the value of re- and upskilling for practitioners and businesses.
