Almost one quarter of individuals aged 16-74 in the EU had never uses the Internet, according to a recently published Eurostat report. However the percentage of European households with access to the Internet is progressing steadily, jumping from 60% in 2008 to 76% in 2012. What's more, mobile Internet is used by about one third of Europeans, and it is particularly popular among young Europeans (aged 16-24 years) with 58% of them using it regularly.
