Cyber Exercises More Frequent in Europe

Cyber exercises are a key tool to assess the level of reaction of a community against cyber crises, technology failures and critical information infrastructure incidents. The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) recently assessed 85 cyber exercises organised between 2002 and 2012 in 84 countries worldwide. The results indicate that the number of cyber exercises is increasing, especially since 2010, due to a more supportive policy context. Cyber crisis cooperation is also growing and multinational exercises are organised more frequently. More about Cyber Exercises
