Report Shows Digital Agenda for Europe’s Progress, Delays and Future Actions


Recently the European Commission reported on the progress of the Digital Agenda for Europe (DAE) during 2011. The report focuses on key actions to be undertaken in future by the European Commission, Council, European Parliament, and Member States respectively.

Some key focus areas of the DAE over the next one to two years include; European Commission to secure support for the new Connecting Europe Facility funding instrument, deployment of Structural and Rural Development Funds, a strategy to stimulate Cloud Computing, and revising the Data Protection Directive.
