EIT Agenda for Investing in Innovation Beyond 2014 Released

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has recently produced the Strategic Innovation Agenda - Investing in Innovation beyond 2014. In the Agenda, EIT states it is ready to play a key role within Europe’s innovation community, for instance by investing in European entrepreneurship and setting up new Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).

The EIT was created to tackle Europe’s innovation gap. Three KICs have so far been launched by the EIT to focus on climate change, sustainable energy and the future of the information and communication society.
