€125 billion ICT Policy Support Work Programme Launched

The 2011 Work Programme of the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) has just been launched. It will be supported by various projects to be selected through a 5th Call for Proposals which will be open from 1st March to 1st June 2011.

One of the objectives within the theme of “Digital Content” aims to accelerate the adoption of eLearning resources, with a view to improving their use/integration into national curricula. The development of digital competences and digitally-supported professional skills for social inclusion actors, in particular home care workers, comes under the theme of “ICT for health, ageing well and inclusion”. A project aimed at eAccessibility mainly in the area of public services will also receive funding.

CEPIS Members may wish to attend the various Information Days that will take place across Europe about the 5th Call for Proposals. The Information Days will take place in the following locations: Paris and Prague on 4th March, Dublin on 7th March, Zagreb on 14th – 18th March, Sofia and Muelheim an der Ruhr on 15th March, Oslo on 21st March, and Madrid on 24th March.
