Think-Trust Research Challenges Report: ‘Towards a Trustworthy Information Society’ is now available

The report identifies challenge areas (and related topics) for future EU research programmes, in order to provide trustworthy hardware and software for the Information Society. The challenges are prioritised in ten research areas: Cyber-security, Architecture, E-identity, Usability, Privacy, Management and Governance, Protection, Accountability, Trust Engineering, Socio-economics.

These research challenges are aligned with the RISEPTIS Report on ‘Trust in the Information Society’ issued earlier this year – in particular RISEPTIS Recommendation number 1 which emphasises the need for the European Union to stimulate interdisciplinary research, technology development and deployment to address current and future trust and security ICT needs. CEPIS LSI SIN contributed significantly to shaping RISEPTIS recommendations.
