Economic Crisis Fails to Discourage Dramatic Increase of Broadband Internet across Europe

The European Commission recently published a report which shows that in spite of the current economic crisis, broadband access in Europe has increased by 2.4% since July last year, with mobile broadband reaching a 54% increase since January 2009.  The quality and speed of Internet available to European citizens has also increased since last year.  In the United States however, the rate of broadband uptake has slowed down.
